The 10' Battle Boat and 10' Battle Cat list a 10 HP maximum with the same 15-inch transom. The 12' Battle Boat and 12' Battle Cat list a 20 HP maximum with the same 15-inch transom, so the Travel XP sits further below. None of these is an automatic fit approval: check your exact boat, motor weight, mounting, and total load.
The Power Package pairs the motor with the 1425 Wh battery and the 180 W charger: the complete setup in one order. Choose motor only if you already own a compatible Torqeedo Travel battery and charger. The battery-only option suits owners adding a second pack for longer days. Match the choice to what you already own and your normal trip length.
Tiller control steers and throttles from the motor itself, the natural pick for tenders and small boats where you sit aft. Remote control suits boats with a console or forward steering position. Both give stepless forward and reverse. Choose the one that matches how your boat is set up.
The short shaft measures 62.5 cm and suits a transom of about 15 inches, which covers inflatables and most tenders. The long shaft measures 75 cm and suits a transom of about 20 inches, for daysailers and deeper transoms. Measure straight down from the top of your transom to the lowest point of the hull and match the shaft to it. When in doubt between sizes, the longer shaft is the safer pick.
Range depends on speed, load, hull, and conditions: full throttle drains any battery far faster than a slow cruise. The onboard display calculates live remaining range from your actual speed and power draw, so you always know where you stand. As a rule, slowing down extends range substantially. Describe your normal crew and trip length when discussing a setup with POP.
The included 180 W charger refills the 1425 Wh battery in about eight hours from empty. The battery also supports solar charging with compatible panels and can charge from a boat's 12V or 24V system with the right cable. The battery management system monitors the pack while it charges.
Yes. The motor weighs 12.6 kg (27.8 lbs) without the battery, and the battery clicks off for separate carrying. That split makes it manageable for one adult to move the motor and battery down a dock or from a vehicle to the transom.
